Salve and Janice Basile started HandsOn Residential Property Management in 2000.

Our vision has always been to provide investors and landlords with a dedicated and professional team that would run a cost effective management service, with a strong emphasis on maintenance.

We are passionate, motivated, enthusiastic and professional about managing properties while understanding the concepts involved in making a rental property work for you.

We believe we offer the best rounded service possible. With our understanding of properties and knowledge in maintenance – it means that our clients receive a dedicated team, which has one hand on the management of their property and the other on the maintenance of it.  We truly believe this is “maintaining the investment”.
We are members of the Independent Property Manager's Association and Wellington Property Investor's Association.

Salve and Janice (along with Sjieuwke) continue to operate the Wellington South office. There is a separate office in Wellington East for a personalised service in this area.

Our Team Members

Salve Basile – Wellington South Office
Salve has over 20 years experience in property maintenance and many years working in the hospitality industry.  He has completed training in the specific of property management. Along with this is active in the Independent Property Managers Association.

Janice Basile – Wellington South Office
Janice has completed a degree in Parks, Recreation and tourism Management.  Janice’s background includes many years experience in the finance industry and recreation industries.  With a  strong focus on providing a personal and professional service – Hands On makes investment properties easy.

Sjieuwke [Shuka] Vriesinga – Wellington South Office
Sjieuwke (our Dutch import) has come from a background of five star hotels and luxury lodges.  Customer service and communication is important to her.  Sjieuwke is very organised and is our multi lingual team member which can be a great advantage.

Rebecca Maresca – Wellington East Office
Rebecca has a degree in Environmental Health and past positions include management roles with a strong focus on quality control and customer service.  Rebecca regards customer satisfaction as the top priority in the day to day operation of Hands On.

Raffaele Maresca – Wellington East Office
Raffaele is a qualified tradesman and has many years experience in a variety of trades.  His wealth of knowledge is invaluable for giving advice relating to when and where to make improvements to investment properties.
