Inspections

We undertake inspections at the property approximately one month after you have moved in, and then on a 4 monthly basis.  These dates may not be exact – but will be around this timeframe.

We will advise you of up coming inspections by mail. A reminder will come by text message the week the inspection.

Once you get a letter, please take note of any maintenance issues that you are aware of and email these through to us in advance. This means that we can plan to look at some of these issues for you while we are at the inspection.

Inspections look at how well you are looking after a property, but the main focus is on the condition of the building and any maintenance requirements that there may be. A report of this information is sent through to the owner.

You do not have to be present at the inspection as we have keys for all of our properties.  You are unable to withhold access for an inspection.  We are legally able to undertake inspections on a regular basis without your being at the property, however where possible we will work to meet specific needs if we are able.

Please be polite to our staff and work with them – it can be frustrating to be turned away – or to get notification of maintenance 2 days after an inspection has been completed.
